Garth Brooks Responds to Backlash: 'Inclusiveness is always going to be me'

Garth Brooks is exactly the type of iconic country performer our community needs on our side. He is one of the most popular country singers of all time and it is safe to say a large part of his audience would be considered conservative.

Yet, this didn't stop Garth from being vocal about his stance on equality.

The country singer had to address fans who might not want to come to Brooks' Friends in Low Places because he decided to still sell Bud Light after the Dylan Mulvaney controversy. (Yes, that really happened and wasn't a weird dream)

Brooks said, "So, here's the deal, man, if you want to come to Friends in Low Places, come in. But come in with love, come in with tolerance, patience. Come in with an open mind, and it's cool," he said.

Thank you Garth Brooks, we appreciate you!
